MJ Finnigan ltd have recently completed the following contracts:-
1. The Demolition of the Groves Campus Estate on behalf of Wrexham Council. This high profile contract involved extensive asbestos removal and the demolition of five seperate blocks including a multi storey teaching block, sports hall, science block, canteen, administration and gymnasium buildings. The entire site area, was remediated with slabs and foundations removed and crushed prior to compaction in layers top soiling and seeding. The 18 week project in one of our largest to date and is part of an on going 3 year framework deal with the council.
2. The Demolition of Hale Barns Square on behalf of Development Securities Plc. Phases 1 and 2 have recently been completed with works due to commence on phase 3 on 7th October 2013. The works have called for a high level of planning and liaison with local residents and remaining tenants in the shopping centre. MJ Finnigan Ltd are looking forward to getting back on site to finish the works.
3. The Demolition of the former Soreen Factory annexe on behalf of Peel Holdings. MJ Finnigan were recently appointed to carry out demolition works to a fire damaged section of a Soreen Factory in Trafford Park. Their was extensive asbestos contamination within the fire damaged section of the factory thus our method had to be planned in close liaison with structural engineers, our demolition experts and asbestos removal team. Works were completed and the safe factory handed back to the client at the end of July 2013.
